Ingredients
MEATBALLS: 1 lb lean ground pork
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 Tbs brown sugar
1 Tbs soy sauce
2 tsp Sriracha
1 tsp garlic powder
1 green onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
GLAZE: 1 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tbs rice wine vinegar
2 Tbs brown sugar
1 tsp Sriracha
Directions

Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine all meatball ingredients in a bowl. Use your hands to combine thoroughly. Shape meatballs into 3/4-inch, cocktail-sized balls. Bake for 20 minutes.  

Meanwhile, combine all glaze ingredients in a small pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; let simmer for 5 minutes. 

When meatballs are ready, place in large skillet over low heat. Pour in the glaze. Stir to coat all meatballs. Let meatballs cook in glaze for 5 to 10 minutes while gently stirring. Serve immediately, as desired.
